Cost Comparison

Having trouble deciding which web designer to choose? There are two big factors to consider:

  1. Quality of the site and the service.

  2. Cost of the site and the service.

Sometimes, paying a little extra for the service and quality is worth it. But I've literally seen designers charge over $4000 for nearly the same service and quality that I charge $450 to $500 for.

To help you make an informed decision, try filling in the GRAY areas in this table with another designer's costs...that is, IF they will be up front and give them to you.

Remember...only change the GRAY cells in the table.

  • Click on the first gray cell under "Other Designers." You may have to hesitate and then click a second time to get the cell to activate. Then, type in the amount of a competitor's design cost.

  • Click on the 30 under that cell. Type in a competitor's cost for a domain name.

  • Continue on filling in the GRAY cells under "Other Designers."

  • At the end, look at Row 7 to compare possible first-year costs for CR Equine Sites and another designer.

  • Look at Row 15 to compare potential future years, and Row 18 to compare 5 years totals.

Of course, sometimes it's worth it to pay a little more if you are comfortable with someone or like their designs better. We just provided you with this table to help you decide if the costs were justifiable, regardless of whether we are higher or lower in cost than a competitor you are considering.
